Start with the Tomis Stronghold (4th century AD), located in Constanţa. Here you can also visit the Casino (1907), the Genoese Lighthouse (8 meters, 1300), The Old Lighthouse (1860), the roman edifice with mosaic, the roman wall, Ovidiu’s statue, the aquarium, the dolphin aquarium, the Orthodox Cathedral (1883), the history museum, the navy museum, the sea museum, the Tomis harbor, and many other.

In Constanţa you can travel with the double deck bus and see the main tourist attractions of the Constanţa and Mamaia resort.
Don’t stop here! At 10 km from Corbu, you have the opportunity to see with your own eyes the oldest settlement in Romania, the Histria Stronghold established 2600 years ago by the Greek sailors and merchants. This is located on the banks of the Sinoe lake, in the northern part of the Istria peninsula.

If you go south-east you can visit the Adamclisi archaeological sight. Here was discovered in the 20th century a monument dedicated to the Traian emperor, Tropaeum Traiani, and the remains of the stronghold with the same name. Another stronghold established by the Greek explorers and merchants can be visited if you travel to Mangalia. Here was built 2500 years ago the prosperous stronghold Callatis in order to encourage the trade between Greeks and Getae.

Corbu village is located 10 km from Năvodari and 15 km from Mamaia on the Mamaia – Năvodari – Istria – Mihai Viteazu – Tulcea route. It’s the first village after Năvodari and Midia plant.

With the Car: If you come from Bucharest, follow Medgidia – Mihail Kogălniceanu – Lumina – Năvodari – Corbu route. When you arrive in Corbu pass by the city hall (on the right when you come from Năvodari) and the school (on the right), go straight ahead and after the police station (on the right), turn right at the first road and and right again and you have arrived at the Anthonyo & Anca pension (on the right).

With the Bus or with the train: If you come with the bus or with the train from Bucharest you will arrive in the train station of Constanţa. From here you can take the minibus no. 23 (Constanţa – Mamaia - Năvodari) to Năvodari. From Năvodari take the minibus to Corbu-Vadu. Attention: ask the driver if he really goes trough Corbu and ask him to stop in the middle of lower Corbu and then follow the instructions above.
